COVID-19 Education Coalition, including Turnaround, Issues Recommendations for District Leaders

Turnaround for Children joined fellow members of the COVID-19 Education Coalition to publish recommendations for school district leaders as they navigate immediate and long-term challenges with online learning.

The recommendations were developed by The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD), the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF), the New Hampshire Society for Technology in Education (NHSTE) and Turnaround for Children.

The document provides recommendations around three key considerations — equitable infrastructure, active digital learning content, and educator capacity building — and outlines questions, resources, and exemplar district stories that leaders can examine with local stakeholders as they develop and revise plans for educational continuity.
